Human-computer interaction focuses on creating simplified interfaces to achieve the best satisfaction for various types of users. To do so, professionals analyse the tasks users need to perform and determine what changes they need to make to make their job easier. Interfaces used in the human computer interaction field integrate auditory systems like sound and speech recognition as well as visual elements like graphic animations, and other state of the art technology.
This course will combine theories from computer science, ergonomics, psychology, cognitive sciences and linguistics.
